Site-Erceted type cooling towers are used in facilities with a water flow exceeding 200 m³. Petrochemical plants, refineries, iron and steel plants use site-erected cooling towers. These towers are built on main bearing beams and columns.
Long Economic Life
Economic life, investment cost and construction period play a role in determining the material of ain carrier construction of the tower. Impregnated wood is commonly used, but reinforced concrete or fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) can also be used as the material of main carrier construction.
Other Components
The parts that are in direct contact with the cooling water, such as the drift eliminator, water distribution system, fill, which form the other componenets of the tower, are made of corrosion-resistant PVC, PP (Polypropylene), FRP and stainless metal. Other parts of the towers are brought to the site and assembled.
Customization Possibility
It’s possible to construct site-erected cooling towers from an unlimited number of adjacent cells. While determining the number of cells, the efficiency of the business, the ease of maintenance and the cost of being disabled in case of failure are taken into consideration. In these type of towers, the project is shaped as a result of the exchange of ideas with our company, according to the operating conditions and the cooling capacity required by our customer.
